We were approached by a local client who had seen our vans going past their house working on another project. They were looking for a light and airy modern staircase for their new, enlarged hallway and landing. We designed a simple yet striking design with some quirky features to make the staircase stand out. The full glass balustrade is kept plain but has angled cut-outs to make the design more interesting.
The oak stair treads are capped on the external with stainless steel with the upper treads fixed directly to the wall and the lower ones having a floating effect. Finally the top landing is finished in matching toughened glass balustrade and stainless caps over fixings.
